Company History

American Automation was founded in 2001 by Ishmail Nassardeen-Buckley, with the purpose of providing technology solutions. The company mission has since evolved from this into total security solutions and energy management, supporting clients in both commercial and government sectors, to include Secret and Top Secret projects. The security applications have included various areas of system integration, specializing in various elements of security, such as CCTV and Access Control; with design, design build, installation, and maintenance.

With offices in Denver and Panama City, Florida, American Automation has seen continued success, due in part to our dedicated and committed employees and satisfied clients.

American Automation – Through the Years
• 2001 American Automation Founded Business Plan centered on Home Automation
• 2002 Major commercial clients including Shaw Construction added to portfolio
• 2003 Moved to new offices in Centennial, CO; secured 8a certification
• 2004 Named fastest growing minority business in CO; Homeland Security added to client list; first DoD client USAFA added; business plan changed to move out of home automation business
• 2005 Named to top 200 CO minority businesses; named changed to American Automation Building Solutions to reflect the Cyber Security, Physical Security and Building Automation services; moved to new offices in Greenwood Village
• 2006 Named top small business by COMTO; first space command project awarded
• 2007 Record growth; employee count tops 25; completed access control project at EPA; TS clearance acquired
• 2007 New management team put in place – Vivian Williams Office Manager, Jerome Lewis Sr. Project Manager, Marvin Williams Security Supervisor
